Annual S.T.A.R.S. training, CPR/ First Aid training, a Food Handlers card, TB testing and HIV/ Blood Borne Pathogen training.
Assistant/Substitute Teacher Job Description:
Primarily you need to be available to be called by the office staff to work when a staff member is sick or on vacation. Usually you will have 24 hour or more notice, but at times you may be called to come in right away if you are able. Assistant/substitute teachers work with leads and the program supervisor keep the children on task, safe and having fun. They are responsible for following the lesson plan of the day and keeping with the current theme set up by the lead staff of that classroom.

After completing one year of employment (if you are full time) you are eligible for a raise depending on performance and education. Also after one year (if you are full time) you will receive 40 hours of vacation to use as you wish.
